Urban Green Lung is a mixed-use development of over a million square feet, centred around a large public garden in the midst of the city.

The garden cuts deep into the ground to connect with the crossing of two underground lines.

Above ground twelve blocks (seven large and five small) stand like sentinels around the central space. Each one is a simple rectangle, varying in height in response to context and climate. Together they form an informal cluster, their geometries softly shifting in response to the historic lines of the site boundaries and surrounding urban grain.
